Who We Are

Pamper Point is a luxury beauty and hair salon based at Triq Il-Ghajn, Swieqi, Malta. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Malta's Data Protection Act, Pamper Point is the “data controller” of the personal information collected through this website.

You can reach us at info@thepamperpoint.com for any privacy-related enquiries.

02

Information We Collect

We only collect information you choose to share with us.

  • Contact form: your name, email address, area of interest and the message you send us.
  • Newsletter: your email address.
  • Technical data: anonymised usage information (pages viewed, device type, approximate location) via privacy-first analytics.

We do not collect payment details on this website. Bookings and payments are handled by Fresha, our booking partner, under their own privacy policy.

03

How We Use Your Information

  • To reply to your enquiry or booking request.
  • To send you the occasional newsletter (only if you have subscribed).
  • To improve the website experience.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.
04

Third-Party Services

We share information with a small number of trusted providers:

  • Fresha - for online bookings, payments and appointment management.
  • Google Maps - to display our location.
  • MongoDB / Emergent - to securely host our contact and newsletter database.
  • PostHog - privacy-first product analytics.

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and only for the purposes described here.

05

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep contact-form submissions for up to 24 months so we can follow up with you if needed. Newsletter subscribers remain on our list until they unsubscribe. You can request deletion at any time.

06

Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct any inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Object to how we use your data.
  • Withdraw consent for the newsletter at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information and Data Protection Commissioner of Malta (idpc.org.mt).

To exercise any of these rights, please email info@thepamperpoint.com. We will respond within 30 days.

07

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to make the website work and a privacy-first analytics cookie (PostHog) to understand which pages are most useful. We do not use advertising cookies or sell any data to advertisers.

08

Security

Data is stored on secure, encrypted servers. Access is limited to Pamper Point staff who need it to run the business. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information but no online service is 100% secure.

09
